Has anyone found they needed more cupramine than bottle suggested to achieve .5 therapist dose?

Treating some new additions in QT with cupramine. The bottle dosage suggests 2ml / 10.5g. My QT is a 10 gallon with hob so probably a little less than 10.5g. I've added .5 ml over the last four days, then .2 ml after a test.

2.2ml - testing consistently at .45

I just added another .2 ml to get up to .5

Any help or experience appreciated. Don't want to end up dosing too much

You could have slight absorption or something. I would trust the tester. It's such a minute amount I think you are good to go.

I've found i need to add more here and there. Also make sure to follow the directions on the tester exactly, as i got more consistent results by doing so. Add reagent, shake vigorously for 15 seconds (time it), put in tester, and then hold button for the 45 second countdown
