Andrew has a Wyze camera set up so he can check on his tank on his phone. Pretty cool he gets to see new additions if he is at school. Lol
I have a couple of yi cameras I usually set up, but I loaned them out. Wife's uncle is fading fast and his wife wanted to be able to monitor him while she was cooking or cleaning in other rooms of the house. People at work crack up when they do see me looking at the tank when I do have them setup.

Got home from work and ran downstairs to check the tank out (ya, I was a little excited!). My main objective was to pull the canopy and start harvesting my GHA, to bad there isn't a market for that stuff. But, I'm easily distracted and decided to take a few pics instead.

Yesterday on the 4th trip from the neighbors to my house with buckets, I lifted the lid and noticed the Midas blenny didn't want to wait until Tuesday to move into his new home. He seems to dig his new pad!

Just random shots, you will notice my Exquisite photo bombed me several times, I really love that fish! After the ride he took from my drain line to the sump and survived he earned the title as a favorite.

Nice tank. I like the curved front .. only issue I have with my tank is with when I had a gyre it didn't really work well in the rounded tanks. The mps also are tough bc they aren't directions to get good cross flow. Your probably gonna need some pedestal mounted powerheads.

I'm officially stocked again thanks to my neighbor getting out of the hobby for awhile due to a new job and moving. No more new additions in fear of another wipeout which kills me because I love wrasses!!
In my 144 I now have -
2 yellow Corris Wrasses ( aquired a large male colored up nicely ). Hopefully the two play nice.
1 Exquisite Wrasse
1 Flamehawk (didn't want another one but it's one of my wife's fav's. Happy wife, happy life)
1 Yellow Tang
1 Yellow Eye Kole Tang
1 Cardinal
1 Chromis
1 Diamond Goby (I think it is a diamond I didn't get a good look before he went in, I will get a better look today)
1 Midas blenny - all I can say is wow!
1 Foxface
2 Gold lightning Maroons - ya, the female is still a butt even with her nems gone!
1 Male Lyretail Anthias and 3 Females

I "think" that's it on fish.

Inverts
3 big tubos and assorted crabs / snails
3 conchs
2 cleaner shrimp
1 coral banded
1 tiger pistol

dang, sure seems like a lot!

Qt has
1 large hippo - tossing around either putting this one up for sale or letting him live at my buddies coral shop, a back up if anything happens to the other one. Decisions, decisions...
1 male anthias - sold
1 Yellow stripe Maroon - sold

Not even taking a guess at the 32 right now. Lol

It will be interesting to see if the Midas Blenny shoals around with the Anthias. Sometimes in the wild they will match color and hide among them. Well, maybe it is for protection, although I wonder if they just like hanging out and being social.

I will keep an eye on it and see, he/she was swimming with one females yesterday evening before the other 2 went in. I figured it was out and about because feeding time was growing near.

Happy Sunday! WC day for both tanks. Also adding shelves in preparation for my next big leap....dosing! I'm also adding a couple of t5's to the canopy. Ran into a little snag. My purchase from the neighbor came with 4 x 48" retrofits (he tossed them in unexpectedly). Standing on the ladder I can only utilize 2 towards the back or break down and buy the 36" hybrid or take out a second mortgage and buy 2 more hydras hd's (this option is only if I want my life expectancy to be greatly reduced when the wife finds out). Dang, it's only money...;Wacky

Stepping into the "modern" world of reefkeeping with an APEX controller. I have never been heavy in the coral side of the hobby but now that my tank is full I'm about to learn REAL QUICK!

There are two downsides to a tank plumbed though the wall that I noticed when thinking about when moving to a controller. Some of my stuff if plugged in under the stand. 3ks and Eflux power heads and heaters. The rest is in the the "sump room". The power cords are only so long...:(

In my tank I have 2 Eheim 300 wt heaters, they seem to be a mile long so they have to reside in the tank. Any recommendations on a quality heater that will fit in the sump in a 11.5" x 13.5" area?

Second - whether I go with the T5 retro or the hybrid fixture, I'm afraid the power cords will be to short to go through the access in the wall and reach the controller. Can a small extension cord be used without messing up the link between the lights and controller? My mind says it should be fine but I don't know how sensitive or restrictive the controller would be.

I hope everyone have a great day and remember, if your hands ain't wet, you ain't a reefin! :D

Holy smokes! I wasn't even that far behind but wow I missed a lot! The Instareef looks amazing!! Test, Test and test some more as I expect a lot of movement on consumption coming fast and furious!

Love the Midas too! I finally have one coming this week and cannot wait to see him :)

Great job, I know how much work all that was and am happy for you!
