Heater Performance and Tolerance

How tight do your heaters hold to setpoint? See chart of mine. My variance is set at 0.5°F right now. Is this to much swing?

Most of the time, you do not change it. I cannot read the graph, but if you are within half of a degree, then you are fine.

You don't want any kind of heating or cooling to short cycle - it wears the components out too quickly.

Ranco is 1 degree and those have been used for decades. .5 is fine.
