Hi everyone, I’m Brandon and I’ve wanted a saltwater tank for years and I finally got the nerve to go ahead and buy one. I bought a 90 ProStar from my local fish store. I have the tank filled and starting its cycle I purchased live rock and live sand to help with the cycle. I’m looking for suggestions on equipment for the tank. I want it to be successful. Here’s a picture of what I have so far.

Welcome to the forums.

A build thread might help, or other equipment you have here, but this forum is usually just the HOWDY!

I will say this tank needs more rock if you're going to do a mixed reef with fish. They need places to swim and hide and feel safe.

Dude thats an awesome tank. Agree that you should acquire more rock. Tampa bay saltwater is always on my #1 list, but it isnt cheap.

What do you plan on doing with your tank? That makes a huge difference in what people suggest for you. Mixed reef? SPS? soft coral?

Welcome to Reef2Reef! You should start a tank thread for your tank so we can follow your progress!

Probably mostly soft corals after I get my fish established and more rock. I want to add 40
To 50 more pounds of rock in it.
