I don't think ich would show up on a fish one day after you added a coral with it, but I guess that is possible?

Ella, welcome to R2R! If you start a thread in the disease forum with picture of your fish, the disease team can help you out! Moorish Idols are not so great at handling fish diseases, so I'd work pretty quickly to get him treated. I believe @4FordFamily has some experience with idols specifically, so he could probably help!
