New to the hobby. Have not yet started my tank, but am slowly building my list with the right equipment, add-ons, and livestock.

Initially was going to purchase a Biocube 32, but decided that I would likely outgrow that tank fast. Have since decided on a 75 gallon pre-drilled all glass tank with aluminum stand large enough to house a sump. No refugium...maybe in the years to come.

Will start off with a rollermat in lieu of filter socks, definitely a protein skimmer, as well as a carbon/gfo reactor. I’ll have a plumber hard install the RO/DI filter in my home and will purchase a rain barrel with spigot to house the pre-mixed saltwater.

As far as livestock, Id love to have Clownfish, Dwarf Angelfish, Chromis, Boxfish, Cleaner shrimp, Trochus snail, Nassarius snail, and Blue Electric Hermit crab.

I’m not too interested in a lot of SPS coral. Instead I’d like mostly softies and LPS such as Devil’s Hand, Cauliflower, Tooth Coral, Flower Pot, Bubble Coral, Frogspawn, Meat Coral, Ring of Fire, and Lettuce Coral.

Here’s hoping.

Welcome to R2R. Dont hesitate to ask questions. 1 reccomendation is be careful of the angels you pick. Some are known to pick at the polyps on coral. If you see something like not reef safe this is what it means.

Welcome to R2R!!! Thank you for the introduction - it sounds like you have a great plan! I look forward to seeing it all come together. Then next step is to consider putting together your own build thread in the "member's tanks" section of this forum so you can share your progress - this also lets you look back in a year and see how far you've come!
