Hello everyone,
I'm new to the reef tank hobby but have kept fish on and off (a fresh water tank and a fish only salt water tank during beach holidays).

Been wanting to do a salt water and coral tank for a while as I have a relative with one.

Did a bit of research earlier last year and a lot of your forums were very helpful and finally started with my tank in March last year. There's been some ups and downs, but I've enjoyed it and so far so good....

Will probably start a separate thread for the tank, but in the meantime here's a picture of the tank so far.

Welcome to Reef2Reef!
During the first year it is totally normal to have different algae phases and unstable water parameters, so I wouldn't worry about the ups and downs ;)
It should get better over time :)
