There is in the St. Louis area but I know that's a few hours from you. If you every feel like making the drive the group is called SLASH and they have, I think, monthly pizza nights at a local restaurant/fish store/hobbyist's home.
Oh sweet! Yes, if I'm down that way I'll definitely join the group! Thanks for the info!

I haven't seen that tank before. I like the dimensions. Your rock work looks really nice. I'm looking forward to seeing your tank develop.
Thank you! My wife helped me with the rock work (she's good) and I got the tank off Craigslist for $450, pretty good deal I thought since it came with the cabinet and everything and it was in excellent condition. I will keep uploading pictures as the tank progresses!

Welcome to the forum! Many great people here. The tank will look awesome with the LED.s over it!
Thank you! Yes, I can't wait to get the lights. Should have them in by Thursday. I'm not sure if its the lights I have right now or if its part of cycling the tank, but the aquarium is filling quickly with diatoms. I think I need a cleaning crew!

Well, I have the lights set up and added an Icecap Gyro Wavemaker (1k gph). I’ve also added a few livestock...2 clowns, 1 monti frag, 1 Pulsating Xenia, 1 Orange Bam Bam Zoa, and 1 Green Star Polyp, along with some CUC including 3 Emerald Crabs.

Anyways, just wanted to give an update on the reef! Here are some pics
