Hi to everyone,
I'm originally from South Africa, but am now living in Prague, Czech Republic for the past 2 years. I've been keeping marines for over 10 years, but still find this a fascinating hobby. I've run several tanks over the past 10 years, starting with a small Nano (Boyu TL450 - 60 liter). Having "cut" my teeth on this, I progressed to a natural sunlight SPS frag tank (200 liter) and eventually ran a full natural sunlight reef tank (350 liter) quite successfully until I relocated to the Czech Republic. As I'm renting a house at the moment, I decided to go for the Red Sea Reefer 200XL (Didn't want to start a large system, as it's more challenging to move). Having learnt some valuable lessons with my previous tanks ( to be read as : stupid mistakes ;Drowning ), I've tried to incorporate a bit more thought and also technology into the Red Sea Reefer build. Still busy sorting out some plumbing and electrical aspects for the tank, but I'll probably do the "tank wetting" this weekend and will do a separate post on the new build with more information and of course pics...
