Name's Stephen but I go by Raxnar on forums, a bit of a play/nod to my viking heritage
New to the forums, but not new to the hobby.
I have been absent from the hobby now for over 15 years... far too long.
Back then I had 3 fresh water tanks. 1 33G, 2 x 25G.
Main tank had Pearl Gourami's, guppies, tetra's, clown fish and a plecostomus (Sucker fish).
Accidentally bread the Pearl's one winter when we had a big storm and had no power for 2 days. my guess is they figured a season change and built a bubble nest clear across the entire 33G tank surface. had hundreds of babies in the tank in no time but sadly the tank got infected with red worms...
Right around that time I had a life change and stopped the hobby.
Now its time to rekindle the hobby and involve my wife of 23 years! Excited.
We're in the education phase at the moment and starting to put together our shopping list.
So far we've narrowed our tank choice down to the RedSea Reefer 350.
In our research we discovered fellow forum member @pelphrey , his videoography and knowledge has helped immensely. Once we pull the trigger on the Tank I'll be starting up a build thread.
Looking forward to getting this going! Hopefully before Christmas.
