Hello - Been lurking here for awhile.
Haven't had a tank for 25 years.
So much info on here.
Question -
New tank set up to take time to ease back in..
Or what I feel is a great deal with tank deal that's an hour out from where I live.
Established tank (IM Lagoon25G), nice fish, softies, SPS, LPS, nice aquascaping, tank looks great.
Upgraded lighting AI Hydra 32. 600 for all - 2 years old.

I can just see transfer day being brutal vs easing back in..
Thoughts...Recommendations?

I was only considering buying the used set up as I thought it was a really good deal. I did NOT want to try and rush everything as it would be about an hour from my place. I do NOT have experience with any corals and the tank has approx 20. I also think it may have too many fish for the size tank yet the video looks like everything is good. Sure Id like to save some $$$$ yet would rather learn as I go from start to finish.
If something were to go wrong once I transferred Id have no idea what to do at this point.

Ya, it might be a better to start off fresh. Start from the nitrogen cycle and work you way up. There’s a lot to learn but we’re here for you!

Welcome fellow lurker! I'd definitely start off new. There's always that risk of uncertainty when moving an established tank. I would hate for you to get it, and then something happen and you slowly watch everything just die and you can't figure out why. Unless your a risk taker, and want to take on that challenge, then by all means go for it. That's a great price. If you're wanting to get a nice AIO system going, I'd check out IM and even look at their blemished tank section. I just started my SW journey with a blemished 40L AIO from IM (can't find the blemish) and it has been a less stressful, somewhat enjoy adventure so far. :)
