Hello. I've had a Fluval Evo 13.5 reef tank setup for a couple years now, and it's deteriorated quite a bit. Corals have slowly died with a few hanging on still. Trying to dive back in and get things fixed. Big algae problem right now. Struggled to fix it. I think I've narrowed my issue down to high TDS in my RO water. I get the RO system running well (I'm on well water, post RO water 100 TDS before DI), but after a period of time my TDS goes through the roof. Well water is about 500 TDS straight out of the well. And at times I'm reading 500 after RO filtration. Anyone else deal with this issue? It absolutely kills my DI life. How often do you change your RO membrane?

Welcome to R2R! I had a tds meter after my ro membrane, as soon as tds started to go up the ro membrane isn't filtering as efficiently anymore, so i'd change it out

Welcome to R2R!
I'm on well also, my tds coming from well is 1000-1400 range. My whole house ro unit drops it to 60-85. Then I have second ro unit just for the aquarium needs, And my ro drops from 60 to 2 on tds meter. No DI for me. Aquarium ro unit filters was not changed in coule years

Well water here stays at a steady 95-100 TDS, the city pumps to water towers from well. My RO/DI filter life depends on usage. When my TDS meter starts creeping up, I change my filters.....
