I have been searching for a saltwater fourm for a while now and i keep comming back to this one. the atmosphere is so frendly, so i decided to make an account! my name is petra and I LOVE saltwater aquariums! i have since i was really little and have been studying marine sciences since i was in 3rd grade (also what i plan to major in). i never really seriously looked at marine aquariums since the price gets pretty steep but now i am really serious i starting a nano tank. of course i would like to have a huge tank (that would be way easier to maintain) but that isnt really in the budget just yet haha. i love matinence of freshwater tanks (and hope there would be mre matinece actually) so that is why i deciced on doing a saltwater tank. However, being a newbie i will need a bunch of help. sorry to add on more of a workload to you guys...

Welcome, Petra!! I just joined this week, too! I'm really excited to get started myself, though my new build is on a bigger scale than yours, but I'd love to see what you're doing with yours.
My tank is doing great, don't want to jinx myself:rolleyes: , best advise I can give you is ask lots of questions here, read and learn as much as you can, and remember that you are taking precious creatures lives into your hands. And btw I started out with a 3 gallon to an 8 gallon and now going to a 30 gallon. :). It's a little piece of heaven!!
