I ended up picking up a bottle of TM All For Reef already, and was going to do WCs every 4 weeks, dosing in between as needed.

Working on 3d printing a lid, with some help from the 3d Cad team in one of the other threads on here.

I was going to post about the Poor Man's ATO, since that was my plan, an upside down bottle. But I do go away for up to 3 weeks sometimes, so I was thinking about more water capacity for the longer trips.

Came with Aquaforest salt, not really sure whats best for nanos?

I do have plenty of buckets, and pumps, etc so QT is covered.

The sand is Caribsea Fiji Pink.
af is pretty good salt
sand is rlly fine though

I dont think dosing is necessary in such a small tank
11 gal over here, rarely ever dose, wc's do enough, lid is a must, net, yes!!!!! ato, u can make one with a water bottle, not really needed, qt, the tank I feel like is too small for qt needed, u can just use a bucket ig
but yes!!!! all this yes!!!!! and more salt too!
maybe even a ammonia tester(the stick on ones)
even better sand? looks very fine the sand included
Depends on the corals in the tank. Some require more than others so dosing makes it beneficial. Softies only need nutrients compared to hard corals needing cal/mag/alk.

That one's not an HOB I guess so it might not fit. The HOB is for 50 gallons.

In my experience with this tank, an ATO is an absolute must. I mean absolute. I could go maybe two days MAX without refilling the return chamber. I ended up doing it daily. I am using the $90 Reef Breeders ATO and a 7 gallon jug from Walmart. I would say that jug would easily last a month.

Personally I do not want any task I MUST do every day.
