What is going on with my hammer, seems to only be one of the heads!?!

How long has it been like that? Chances are something brushed up against that specific head and it retracted a bit. My xenia and sometimes duncan do this all the time. Should be fine.

It's probably nothing but if it starts to melt away or get brown and mushy... Chop the head off immediately and dip the coral. But as of right now do nothing but observation.

Only been like that for about an hour, it actually has recovered since I posted so I don’t think it’s a big deal. Not brushing against anything, could just be due to the hermit bothering it.
