Today I received my first RODI unit which is the aquatic life 4 stage RODI. Following the YouTube video from marine depot, I followed the steps and everything was going according to plan. I just drilled a hole above the p trap and come to find out that the drain saddle won’t fit as my pipe is too small. I’m by no means a plumber and I have no idea what to do from here. Any help is greatly appreciate as I now have a hole at the bottom of my sink

Well, if you want to McGyver something, you just need to put a spacer between the back saddle and the pipe. Maybe that will enable you to tighten it down enough.

Depending how well it works you could use it temporary until you find a different smaller clamp, or just leave it.

Another option is to see if it fits on the white part, if so just cover your other hole with electrical tape.
