Help brown stringy dinoflagellates

Help I have this brown stuff all over my tank I’ve been doing some research and a lot of posts says it’s dinoflagellates. Is there anyway to get rid of this stuff completely? I added a new wave maker to the bottom of my tank to help increase the flow but this stuff has completely taken over my tank and rocks! The tank looks horrible aesthetically, there’s got to be a way to get rid of this please help!! Also going to leave the lights off for 3 days, online post suggested blackout to prevent new growth.

What are your current water parameters? These show up in my tank primarily when I let my phosphates drop to 0.

Raising that along with manual removal has had the best results in my tank.

If your dinos go in to the water column at night a UV sterilizer can do wonders to eliminate them.
