Hey guys!
I noticed yesterday some fluffy spots on the side scales and pectoral fins of my little ocellaris clown Moses- but after 3 hours they were gone. The spots are fluffy and imo too big to be ich. They also appear to be next to abrasions which i’m not sure are bites from my bicolour blenny Lenny or stings from the torch he has decided to call home. They look almost fungal to me as a previous freshwater keeper

I’ve had no new additions (fish, inverts, corals) since the 15th of feb

I’ll attach some photos- sorry about the quality he is a hard guy to photograph and ignore the debris in the water I had to feed to keep him up top and close for long enough

Fish are thin and showing signs of brooklynella.
The most significant sign is the amount of slime on its body which is noticeable on the fish. This mucus generally starts at the facial area as well as gills and spreads across the body producing lesions as it progresses often confused with ich and can turn into secondary bacteria. Other symptoms will be lethargic behavior, refusing to eat and heavy breathing from the mucus.
Start with a prolonged 60 minute bath of ruby rally pro then at a lower concentration in a quarantine tank. The longer the fish are exposed to the treatment, the more effective it will be at eliminating this issue.
Since a formalin solution is often not available for use, temporary relief can be achieved by giving the fish a FW bath or dip in water same temperature as display tank. Even though this treatment will not cure the disease, it can help to remove some of the parasites, as well as reduce the amount of mucus in the gills to assist with respiration problems.
Treatment is best done in a QT tank using either quick cure (more effective but now harder to find) or Ruby Rally Pro. Ruby takes a little longer and initial treatment generally takes 2-3 days to really start going to work.

He eats sooo much but doesn’t chunk up- my other clown is definitely chunky though. I feed a varied diet of flakes, pellets, and mysis usually two times a day but he just doesn’t get fatter- can you recommend anything else that would help with that? As far as ruby rally pro- I’m in rural Australia and will need to order things express but we don’t have that product in Aus. Would any other parasite treatment work for him?

I don't see a body weight problem with your Clown, but I do see a second one maybe larger but I can't tell that could bullying the one you named Moses and restricting his access to food. Are they Mated? If those spots are coming and going it could be Sting. Does the White Clown has to same "Fluffy" spots?

They are definitely husband and wife and she is much bigger than him but they get along perfectly other than the occasional little tiff. I watch them eat whenever I feed and he definitely gets a fair bit in before losing interest. His mate Trisha doesn’t have any of these spots and neither does my bicolour blenny Lenny in the same tank

How is the little clown today?

Can you post a video of both clowns? I can diagnose Brooklynella better from video than I can from still pictures.
