I was completely new and I adopted 100 gallon tank from a guy at Work. With the tank and all the gizmos and gadgets came a purple tang.

I got the tank cycled. I got the purple tang and quickly did I realize this guy was an *******. He would bully just about anything I’d put in the tank, but slowly he would back off and just respect that they’re in the tank together.

I decided to introduce a powder brown, smaller and size than him three days ago and since then he’s not eaten a bite and has been getting bullied by the purple tang. The same day I also introduced 2 big 2” clown fish.

24 hours ago, I noticed the powder brown and the clowns are covered in what I believe is velvet. The clowns are eating and have been since day 1. Minor purple tang aggression but nothing really.

Without a QT tank should I just take them out of my tank ASAP and “donate” them! I don’t want to jeopardize the rest of my tank but I don’t want to panic if I’m just over thinking it.

What would you do.

This seems more like Ich to me, and all fish would be infected, even if they are not yet showing symptoms. Would there be no way to start a QT tank? Even a fish safe plastic tub can work in a pinch.

I leave diagnosis to the medics.
I can't play the video on my end. If you don't have coral you can treat the DT with copper or run it hypo salinty. Instructions are in the disease forum.
Donating sick fish is a terrible idea. Even if you remove all the fish the tank is going to have to be run fallow before any new fish can be added.
100g is on the smaller side for a purple tang and definitely too small for a purple and a powder IMO. Even littie tangs grow into larger fish and I've found behaviour to change drastically after fish are a few years old. That cute little fish can turn into a terror when it gets 4-5"+ in size.
