I am new as of last October. Keeping a 30 gallon long and picked up aitapsia as a hitchhiker. There are just a few. I’ve physically removed them with tweezers. I’ve used aitapsia X. I’ve tried 2 peppermint shrimp but they didn’t survive. They tried to host in my anemone. The clown was highly indignant trying to pull one out by grasping its tail with her mouth. I’ve never seen them since the first night and then fought high nitrates for the next week. I suspect they died but I never found the bodies. Now I see some aitapsia on a bottom rock I really don’t want to remove and two on my zoa colony. I also have a hammer coral, green star polyp, blood shrimp, skunk shrimp and a few fish. Is there any thing I can add to the waiter that will kill the aitapsia without injuring the other tank inhabitants? I’d like to get rid of them before this becomes a plaque. So far there’s only a few and I keep removing them or using aitapsia X but it is time and labor intensive. I also worry about the two interspersed with my zoa. Any help is welcome. Thanks.
