hey guys, just bought a new gobie and the lfs didn’t know the name of it. Could anyone help me ID this guy?

Looks like a Midas Blenny to me but I am far from an expert.

Tail spot blenny, they are a great fish. I would also seriously consider shopping somewhere else if they didn’t know that was a a tail spot blenny

The colors he is showing are his stress pattern. Mine looked the exact same, originally i thought that he was some type of exotic morph. When mine settles in for the night he also reverts back to these colors. It's a really cool adaptation that not many speak about with these cool guys!

I was about to say the two spot is a similar but different blenny than the tailspot.
