Tank has been running about 3 weeks, everything seems to be doing good. I haven’t been able to figure out what this is on the live rock from lfs. Any help is much appreciated.

Looks like it might be a piece of encrusting coral. Likely a small piece that broke off and attached in that spot :)

I believe it is a small encrustin Montipora or Porites.
