HI guys, I noticed this branch looking things growing on the rock next to one of my corals. I couldn't find any information online of something similar.
Is it the coral growing? Or is it some type of pest that could harm the coral?
The coral don't seem to be bother by it.
I also noticed something similar growing in the back of my powerhead.
Thank you.

Are you talking about those white things? Are they hard tubes? If so, the look like featherdusters which are normal and harmless.

No they will do fine on their own. They numbers will decrease and increase as conditions in your tank allow... available food, proper -for them-water conditions.
