Any still pics under white lighting?I've already removed two of these things from my tank and I'm pretty sure there is more. Straight up Killed or irritated some zoa's to death. Should I lose sleep?
@WheatToastUnfortunately I cut it out already and can't get you a better picture under white lighting but it would still help to know what it is in case I see anymore. This isn't the first time I've spotted one and it seems to always be near and killing my zoa's. Here's some screenshots with sloppy arrows. Thanks
It didn't have obvious tentacles but surely had a mouth it was lunging out and grabbing stuff with. Thank you very much.Unfortunately, I'm not sure what it is, so hopefully WheatToast will know. I can't see any oral tentacles on it, so it does seem to be a worm of some kind. Unfortunately, the only marine worm species that I'm currently aware of that are transparent don't look like this guy.
That said, if I had to guess (a total shot in the dark here), maybe an Enchytraeid worm (taxonomic family Enchytraeidae)?
This definitely looks very similar to what I was dealing with hopefully I don't have anymore. Thank you for your help!
