Just noticed on my glass tonight. Not sure what this is or where it came from! I only have 2 clowns since cycling along with a small group of snails and done chaeto.

Forgot... it's about an inch long. It was stuck to the glass by the front appendages and moved into a corner of the tank, the started pylling itself up the tank, almost like an inch-worms movement.

Well that makes sense...I did see a few hydroids on the glass last week but they didn't have that long worm-like tail and the front appendages were different. Do hydroids grow into what I have pictured? Or are their different kinds?

Cucumber. (Synaptidae)

Thanks @KJ
The hydroids thing made sense with having minimally added anything to the tank (cycled with dry rock and dry sand), byt I couldn't find a picture of a hydroid with branched front "tentacles". The cucumbers do have that look! I took it out of the tank last night and put it in a cup. It was still moving a little this morning...I put it back in, hopefully it is strong enough to survive! I guess it could have come in with the chaeto or snails?
