Hey everyone.

Newer reefer here and looking for help on something to help fill in the top of my rock work

Specifically the top left side above those 2 hammers. This section gets exposed to air whwn I do my water change and read lps are not a great idea in that situation.

Would an entrusting coral do well here?

Looking for suggestions. Probably not acros at this point though.

For reference i have 2 Ai hydra 32s 8-10" off the water tank is a im 100int

My thumb was hovering over the button to add a forest fire digi to my cart. Its even on sale Thank you.

Would you add anything else beside it? Or leave it for grow out room? Rock is like 12 inches across
A branching monti (digitata) would look pretty cool there and be fine out of the water for a while. Bubblegum or forest fire with the red would pop against all your green too.

Also I was going to purchase an electric daisy stylo.

Better to be on an island? Or where would be a good placement on this rock work.

I understand par, just looking for good placement as far as grow out and not stinging other corals.

Would the top on the rock work on the left by the fire digitata a bad idea?

acropora- just wait- you’ll get into sticks like many of us. Start with a green slimer or something similarly easy. Lots of light up there

Something easy like a birds nest would be an option too. I have one at the top of my structure and it doesn’t care that the water level drops during water changes.

So I just ordered a forest fire digitata, an electric daisy stylo and a rainbow chalice oh and a baby plate coral.

Can I get suggestions on good spots to put them on the rockwork but keeping in mind i have some blastos and other random corals I still need homes for.

Sorry about the glare I just took the picture.

If something is better suited to an island im fine with that. I was thinking the chalice on the rock above the hydnophora.

Sweet! The digi and stylo will take up as much room as you let them have, quicker than you think. I like to put stuff like that together so that they limit eachother's growth. Those 2 will do great anywhere up top, but note that the stylo is going to throw some shade, so either far right or far left so you don't cover too much. The chalice will do fine where you want to put it, and the plate will be best somewhere around the middle, so you can still grow stuff above it, but also where it won't shade anything important below it.
