It’s time to add a fish to up my bio-load a bit…and because fish are fun :)

I’ve got a 65 gallon mixed feed with several established LPS and a few SPS.

Current fish:
White-tailed bristletooth tang
Melanurus wrasse
Pink Pygmy wrasse
Yellow assessor basslet
Royal gramma

Would love to add just one more cool fish to the bunch. Someone fun who will fit in to this group in this size tank.

What would YOU get?

Fourmanoiri tilefish, Helfrichi firefish, Fathead Anthias, skunk tilefish, and Pintail Fairy Wrasse are all great fish. Honestly the rhomboid fairy and lot of other fairy wrasses are as well.

Captive imbred clowfish to host your powerheads? Coral Beauty are great. Longnose Hawkfish or a blenny (Midas, Bicolor) are funny characters.

Nothing, due to the size the current fish will get and it’s only a 3’ tank. The current fish will also get active and aggressive especially the White Tail and the Melanurus. If I HAD to get something and there was no other option it would be out of;
A tilefish (Any of them)
A Choati leopard wrasse (After a lot more research)
A small butterfly (CBBs get too big)

What about a small pair of bonded clowns?

FWIW, whenever I add fish I use an acclimation box for the first few days.

I’d say they get too aggressive for the current inhabitants. My Black Photon is a nightmare in a 4’x2’x18” tank.
