I noticed hundreds of these things all over my glass the last couple of days and I've no idea if there good to have or not and if not what they might be.

Acoel Flatworms. Suck them out with a hose during water changes. Certain fish will also consume them. They're not necessarily bad, but can reproduce very quickly.

Eliminate them. Melanarus or 4 line wrasse should eat them. You can also take a fine net and scoop into net and reverse net into toilet and flush them.

I see them periodically in my tank, I've not had any problems related to them that I can identify. My melanarus keeps the population down.
