Help picking Algae eaters

Hey everyone, recently I lost most of my fish in my 55 gallon reef. In the next few weeks I'll start adding new fish slowly again. I'm looking for Algae eaters that are reef/invert safe as well as peaceful and suitable for a 55 gallon aquarium. Also I don't want anything thats very difficult haha. Thank you all!

With that size tank you are pretty limited for fish.

There are a few blennies and gobies that will eat algae.

It's a gamble but a dwarf angel could work. Other than that a Lawnmower Blenny would probably be your best option.

As much as I love Angels I have to pass due to their reputation and I just don't want to risk it haha

Suit yourself, I have a Coral Beauty that ignores my Euphyllia Frags other than the "once in a while" exploratory nip. Either way I love my Coral Beauty and mine actually doesn't mind eating some of the hair algae in my tank (and he can have all he wants). The lawnmower blenny would probably be your best bet for your size of tank though. Just be aware they can become grumpy as they get older.

Don't forget about snails. Those big, Mexican turbos are really good algae eaters.

Yup, the Mexican Turbos are great. I also got my hands on a few Caribbean Turbos recently and they have beautiful shells and are interesting to watch.

I understand and you are more likely to have luck with a lawnmower blenny when it comes to your algae problem.
