HELP!!! Pistol Shrimp Claw????

Just pulled this out of my filter sponge and it kinda looks like a claw? Wondering if my pistol shrimp already lost one of its arms and how it may have happened? There’s no other fish in the tank. Will it grow back?

Either lost it or may be old one from molting. You will know next time you see your shrimp
 
Could be a piece of a molt.

I don't see claw though, looks like some dead clam that was on a rock or in the substrate IMO. Maybe just got filtered after released from the sandbed.
