I recently bought this powder Brown Tang and this morning I noticed something strange about it's mouth. It does not seem to be able to close its mouth and there's something White all the way around its mouth and when it breathes a small white string or at least that's the best way I can describe it blows from its mouth about maybe an eighth of an inch and then when he breathes then of course it goes back in and it just goes in and out in and out any ideas what this could be

Unless you used super glue in your tank recently, then that's probably a Columnaris-like (Flexibacteria) infection. I unsuccessfully tried to treat a Tomini with the same thing (pic below). Kanaplex, Furan-2 and metro all had no impact on it. If I had to do it all over again, I would try a Sulfa based antibiotic such as Triple Sulfa Powder instead.

This website contains more detailed info on Triple Sulfa and other antibiotics: http://www.americanaquariumproducts.com/AquariumMedication2.html
