Yes it did move to less flow, I had a it on the rock right above where he is now. I understand they like the bottom of the tank so I had him down low. Params were checked yesterday and everything was good. Not sure about what light it is tbh, I bought the whole setup from someone and the light was included. She had a reef tank so I assumed it would be okay to continue using, tho I know I’m definitely in need of an upgrade

Well it's severely bleached for one, not that it can't recover.

Mysis squirted towards it a couple times a week will help there.

It's a sand dweller, so the rock placement would not have worked.

I would scoop a well and try to bury it's foot.

It's an H.crispa, when it's healthy and able to tolerate light, it will want pretty strong lighting.

It's good to know what you have for lights and if not LEDs you need to know how old bulbs are.

Params good tells us nothing really, you should know the numbers, this helps us assist you better.

Bleaching meaning? It was this same color when purchased. And yes I feed mysis shrimp to the whole tank and squirt some for him. I’ll definitely try to get him placed better! I know my lights are led. It’s got the red white blue purple lights just not sure how strong it actually is. It reaches to the bottom of tank tho.

And can’t check parameters yet, it’s impossible to do by myself and a one year old running around lol I’ll post an update of those later this evening!

See if you can find a label or name of some kind on those lights, or post pic of any symbol or anything on it.
It's kind of important to know.

No healthy host anemone should be white, it will darken in color as it regains health.

Keeping anemones is a step up in the challenge of keeping reefs or SW tanks, at that point it is a good idea to have test kits of your own, salifert kits being most accurate, and since anemones require stability you should know what those numbers are doing, making sure you have proper stability is key.

Okay so I finally got parameters checked!! Salinity is .024, pH is around 8-8.2, Ammonia is 0, Nitirite is 0, and I found my Nitrates are bad, that’s showing around 80-160ppm on the color chart. Is that causing the trouble with the anemone and how can I fix this?
Light is Fluval brand
I also dug a small hole in the sand, placed the anemone and filled him in, within 10-15 mins he came right back out. Is there a certain way I’m supposed to do it? This is what he currently looks like.

If he doesn’t want to be buried he won’t be buried, lol. I wish we had control of our anemones are you sure about the nitrates? Maybe test again. That is really high.

That's pretty high nitrates and not helping.

That light fixture is usually more so for FW, not that you can't run marine lamps, it just is not as high of light as that anemone would want IF IT WAS HEALTHY, but at this time it may not tolerate much light anyway.

So it's bleached and struggling already and not ideal tank to heal in at this time, hopefully the foot was never torn or anything which can keep from setting.

What's your substrate and depth?

Also post filtration and lets see what we can do to lower trates, and I'd start w/ quality WC's
