I've been fighting with HLLE too with my yellow tang.. her fins are growing back really well but unfortunately she have a wounds that looks like bacteria near her bottom fin and I'm treating her with kenaplex.. it's been really tough for her but she's my miracle fish..
If the Kanaplex by itself doesn't help after treating for 10-14 days, consider either the "trifecta" of Kanaplex + Furan2 + Metro or NFG or Sulfaplex + Neoplex.

Thanks I'll do.. Yesterday was my second dose and it's seems like it's not getting better.. I have to change the water in my qt every other day due to amonia level quickly rising, so I don't know if that's affecting and weakening my dose as well..

also brine shrimp does not have much nutritional value for your fish. May want to get mysis , or some other more nutritional frozen foods. I also have a yellow tang and feed frozen mysis, nori and rod's herbivore blend (daily), he loves it.
