Hey question iam new to this hobby, can anyone give me options for a suitable Tank mate for a 10 gallon nano reef with 2 Clowns, No Goby or Fire Fish (not a covered tank)? [emoji1]

To be honest I feel two clowns is one too many in a ten gallon

understood with the 10 Gallon and fish capacity, but just wondering what would be a good tank mate.. all over I've searched only says Gobys or fire fish

Usually anything can go with a clownfish, but clownfish are best to be the last to add to a tank because they are territorial. I would highly advise not adding anything to the 10 gallon with an established pair of clownfish.

If they start breeding, then that doesn't leave a lot of room for tankmates. Maybe a watchman goby/pistol shrimp, if paired the watchman will be less likely to jump.
Perhaps a fish that stays in the rockwork, such as an orchid or elongate dottyback.
