depends on "good" definition lol
mithrax species will eventually eat coral (or something you want to keep). Theyre great for sumps because they eat basically anything. I have an emerald in my sump and hes about 2" now. Ive *heard* but never experienced, bigger emeralds eating fish.

No not necessarily. A lot of hobbyist have kept them long term without incidence. I agree that as with all crabs and a lot of shrimp there is a risk, but not all emeralds will eventually eat coral or inverts.

I can agree with that-I just know the one I had to transfer to my sump was eating some polyps of mine that were in recovery.
