This tank has been running since September. My Chaeto started to grow, but this slime started to grow at the same time. I think it is stealing all the nutrients as the Chaeto stopped growing - slight decline. Nitrite/Nitrates are zero (clear test color).

This algae lines the sides, and then looks like pealing paint and breaks off and floats. In the back the smooth side is where it was going against the walls. The bubble side would be face up.

No algae at all in my DT.

Also - I don't have any critters in my refugium. Not sure if/what to put.

I found this link https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/sea-lettuce-may-have-been-my-savior.344787/
which has a pic that looks like what this is, with bubbles.
I've never handled official sea lettuce before, but this is slimy and falls apart. Some official sea lettuce pics look more like a plant than algae growing on the surface of everything.
If it is sea lettuce, then my first problem algae is a good algae!

Doesn't look like sea lettuce Algae Barn sells. There's no structure to it, kind of like jelly.
