Help understanding what uv and violet channels

Hi guys so trying to understand what the uv and violet channel do for corals and what running too high of settings could do to mixture of softies, lps and sps tanks about 4-5 months old sitting stable now but just want to understand little more about the lighting

I currently run
30% white + 30% Royal blue
Blue 80%
Uv + violet 80%

Mostly just more "PAR"..
True uv starts at about <400nm

One thing though many par meters get a bit less accurate after 380 or so nm.
