I have a poorly clown fish and poorly mandarin. We are suspecting fin rot, can anyone confirm? Both are very lathergic, Clown is still eating, mandarin not really moving. Both seem to be struggling to breathe, laying on the bottom on the tank appearing lifeless :( Not managed to get a good photo of Mandarin yet.

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

The clownfish has a lacerated pectoral fin and is breathing too fast.
What other fish are in with it? (other than the mandarin)
How long have they had these symptoms?

We have another Clown, a puffer, a tang, a wrasse, a blenny and a pyjama cardinal (sorry if my spelling is off)! Started last week with lethargy and laying on sand , but only over the last 24 hrs have the fins deteriorated on both

This is the same video. Can you post a video of the whole tank and the other fish?

How high was the ammonia? You can expect it to start to rise again.

The maroon clown is very sick, do you have a treatment tank available? This is going to be a tough issue to deal with on a Sunday night.
