I am having an algae bloom and need help getting rid of. I just added new ecotech lighting and that is when started. I cleaned the tank 2 days ago and already back. Is there a chemical I can add to get rid of.

How long has the system been running? It looks like new tank uglies to me. I would avoid chemicals while the system is new and let it run its course.

Is it slimey? Clumps together? Or is it more dusty?
Chemiclean helps for slime

But personally I would crank out blue leg herms
Astrea snails, margarita, turbo snails, etc
Also I would order some copepods
Turn off the lights for about 72 hours then Dial down the lighting time…
Run the skimmer

Get some type of flow to go over those part of the tank

Hope this helps!
