Im going to be having a marbled catshark in a 220, and i need help choosing a substrate. I dont want something that is basically dust and obviously not anything to coarse. I was looking at caribsea fiji pink arag alive sand. Also how much sand in this tank? I was thinking about 300 pounds.

The Fuji pink with crushed coral is what I use in all my tanks. Personally, I feel it is the best sized for medium to high flow.

Right now I have 2 jebao pp20 powerheads 2600-5300 gph each, is that too much?
Not is you position them right and turn it down to almost as low as it can get. You may also need to trade out the shark or get a bigger tank as they grow to as wide as your tank is. Minimum footprint (imo) for a full grown shark is 72 by 36.

Marbled cats only get 20 inches long

Have your tried getting it of a parking spot while someone is 2 feet behind you? Unless you have no rocks it would only have 3 inches front to back wiggle room at most.
These sharks are built to maneuver in tight spaces, thats how they live in nature.
