Help with coral ID (I think its a type of Xenia)

I have this Xenia (i think) that is growing out of control in my tank. I am trying to figure out what type of xenia it is so I can better figure out how to get rid of it or at least cut back some of it. I have posted a picture but this is like 2% of the total amount of it in my tank. It is growing over the back wall as well as starting to crowd out my zoas. I prefer to not remove any rocks in my aqua scape as everything is connected now.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

I'm not 100% sure, but think those may be blue cloves, Xenia's have stalks and branches out...

Doesn't look like xenia to me. Maybe some type of clove polyp?

I agree they are very similar to the blue cloves, i just cant figure out why the polyps have smooth arms instead of "frilly" arms.

There is no mat, they spread a little offshoot like root and out pops another. They eventually wrap around zoas and choke them out.

It is in the clove family...but not the blue.
I wonder if fenbenzanol would knock them out...

WOW!! I think this is it! Thank you for sharing this. I will definitely look into fenbenzanol and see if it will solve my problems.
