Yes all Imput helps what coral should I put on the top rockAll corals at first low in the tank to light/water acclimate, on the sand bed. Lower your light Intensity a little during this time. After a couple days to a week, Euphyllia mid tank, elegance low to sand bed level, Zoa low to mid, mushroom low to mid, acan low to mid, montipora mid to high.
Hope this helps.

Wow what’s that first coralTrust me, I know what they can do:
Out of the corals I purchased what would do well up topIt depends on your light intensity. Montipora being a sps coral will do best up higher, but montipora that encrust and plate can shadow other corals below it. So be wise where you place it.
Euphyllia can take some higher light, but again depends on light intensity. Once acclimated, If they receive to much light, they won’t extend and retract. Too little and they may loose heads. You want them to extend fully, so that might take moving them a couple times to find that sweet spot. Same for the elegance.

what do you mean to the sideThe montipora. I’d glue it to one side so that it can grow and not become a issue later.
