Help with I'd?? Popping up everywhere

Hey all,

I'm wondering if anyone may know what these little round things with the green on them may be that have started popping up in my tank? They are pretty small so hard to photograph but I probably have about 15 - 20 of them that I can see.

My eyes may be deceiving me but those looks a lot like a baby hammer or frogspawn.

Do you have a hammer or frogspawn in the tank. If so you may be very fortunate and it spawned and the baby’s took.

No frogspawn in the tank, I do have a hammer but.
I was thinking they could be zoas as a have a little rock with them on it however these have popped up everywhere and nowhere near the zoas and they look a different shape.

Zoas don’t spread like that but a hammer can drop babies and they float around till they either anchor somewhere or get sucked into the sump. Keep us updated. I am very curious

I'll definitely post some updates as they grow. I'll be stoked if they turn out to be little hammers.

Yeah that's two votes so far for baby hammer. I'm hoping so. If that is the case my 4ft tank is going to have at least 20 hammers in it.

I too think majano anemone. I would work to affirm the ID because if majano, you may want to act quickly.

I had majano, but they usually hide for me and stay in shade or under rocks

If it’s populating quickly as stated, I tend to think pest, not something good. But I’m a pessimist.

It's just odd because they all showed up at the same time, they are all the same size and I haven't seen any new ones in 4 weeks.
I'm gonna live on the edge and just see what happens
