I set up my new apex over Christmas vacation and everything was working fine for a couple weeks. I left for my first business trip this week and of course this point of sale stopped connecting to Fusion while I was out of town. I was told to press the reset button for 1 second and then it would reboot and it should connect again.....Well, now the blue light is on the controller and it seems to be reset. Now I can't connect it to my fusion account or even get it connected to the http://apex.local to set it back up. What's up with this point of sale?

Can anyone assist?

system > netsetup > dhcp (turn this on)

scroll up on the netsetup menu and go to restart.

Nope. The controller head unit resets but then still shows the blue light. Won't connect to wifi.

Did you rename your apex? I renamed mine since I have two on my network, so the new apex is newnameapex.local. Was it a true reset you did or just a restart? If you did a true reset, you should be able to set it up again.

FYI, I haven't experienced it yet with my new apex, but my old apex (classic) will become disconnected with fusion at times. You might have had a brief power outage and/or the internet went down. So I'm guessing that's why it wasn't sync'd with fusion.

I did rename. That was the issue. I was able to reconnect after that.
