About a week ago I bought a zoa frag from my LFS and it has yet to open. It was fully opened at the store but for some reason, I cant get it to open in my tank. This isn't my first time with Zoas but my first time having this problem. I've tried moving it to areas with differing amount of light and flow but that doesn't seem to help. params: Ph:8.2 Nitrate:10 Nitrite:0 Ammonia:0 Kh:10. For context I have some palys that have been consistently open for weeks.

Give it more time and put it someplace with medium to low light and leave it alone. Moving it is only going to aggravate the situation, IMHO.
