Hey all, my pump went out yesterday and couldnt figure out what had happened. It was working fine, then i turn off for water change. When try to turn back on, both the 15 and 60min lights blinking red. Check the propeller to clear of anything stuck in the pump. I disassembled and clean the pump too. The propeller is moving freely as it should. I dont see any bulking in the pump chamber either. From the looking of it, everything seems good but wont start.
Even when the pump is disconnected from the controller, the red lights still blinking.
I also noticed what is seem like burned marks on the pump near the wire cord. Not sure if is from electrial burn or just dirty from being in the tank. If it’s electrical burn, probably before that kr else i would smell it at time of cleaning the sump.

I had it running for almost 7 years haha

That sucks-- still not sure if that's a burn or gunk, though ;) Have you tried soaking the pump in citric acid, is the float switch thing throwing a wrong signal?? (Sorry I use mine with a hyrdos..)

possibly but im not sure
