I have a coral life needle wheel skimmer, and it is going crazy pouring out clean foam. This is not a new skimmer and has been working fine. I have not added any chemicals and the air entry lines are not clogged.
Help with skimmer!!

It's something that was introduced to the water. Did you start treating with a new chemical? Did you have lotion/ hair stuff/ cologne on your hands when you stuck your hand in the tank? What did you do right before this happened. The good news is, once it skims out whatever is making it foam, the problem will be over. At least I hope. :)
--Mine did that one time when my wife had dried a filter sock with a dryer sheet and I didn't know it. Pulled the sock and let it skim. Didn't seem to cause any harm.

i absolutely hated my coral life needle wheel skimmer had to adjust the thing every time i walked by the tank almost just to keep it skimming even with my water level the same. i tried some mods and still no luck i just got rid of it

try setting the return down more so not some much water is in the unit. that foam doesnt look bad to me. now if it was water overflowing then yeah theres a problem
