Hey all bought this guy the other day and he was all spread out and looking good, once put in the bag he shrunk up and hasn't opened up since.

I'm also not sure what this coral is so if anyone can identify it that would be great.

I had one of these before a few years ago and it did great, came from the same shop, this is a different tank and set up however.

Thanks in advance

Kenya tree coral I think. They do that from time to time when unhappy or shedding. Could just be acclimating...unless it's one of the nonphotosynthetic (carnation tree) fellows that look like a Kenya tree. Then it needs food!

Thank you, I know the last one I had perked right up and spread through the tank and grew fast.

No one knew what it was tho, now it seems we might know so I'll look into feeding it etc.
