Hey guys, My wife just texted me . By Yellow Wrasse was hiding for the last couple days, it’s out today but has a swollen eye.

I have asked her to mix up some food as I want to see if he eats.Do I need to panic ?

she said it’s a pretty big bulge. He came out for 5 mins then buried himself before she could offer any food.

I will say that a couple of days ago the wrasse and my tang were not happy with each other. First time that has happened , I’m wondering if he took a swipe from the scalpel!

I had a wrasse with popeye and it cleared up on it's own. I feed the tank well and left the fish alone.

K. Good to hear. He has only been coming out of the sand for very short periods . I’m gonna stock the tank with pods tonight so that even if he comes out at night and I miss him, he will have food.

So The wife spotted him , He had been missing for 5 days . He was laying in the sand, not moving he then tried to bury himself but was not successful. She got a look at the eye the swelling seemed to have gone down but it’s clouded over. The other eye is good.

I can’t actually get to him, I don’t think this little guy is gonna make it

Did you have the yellow wrasse in the same tank as the mystery?
