It would do good to remove it. Looks like a tube that a small filterer such as a coco worm would live in. When it comes out to filter for food in the water, it will bother the frogspawn’s head, and may lead to some recessions. So just crush it or something similar like using scissors, tweezers, etc, they are not hard to take off usually. Be careful of the flesh on that frogspawn though, don’t want to rip it up or even touch it honestly.
